NEO – some new beginnings come on three paws❣
I am NEO. My name means “new.” And that is exactly what I wish for: A fresh start. A life that tells not of loss, but of opportunities.
I am a large, black giant – calm, impressive, and yet gentle at heart. My appearance bears many of the characteristics of a Cane Corso, but my amber-colored eyes reveal a deep gentleness. Many people notice my size first. Some notice my missing leg. But only a few see what matters most: my heart.
No one knows why my right hind leg is missing. I accept it with a calmness one would not expect from a dog of my stature, and with a strength you only feel when you look into my eyes. They tell not of pain, but of hope. I am reserved and cautious. A dog who does not push, but waits until someone reaches out a hand to him.
The world beyond the shelter is uncharted territory for me. But I want to discover it – by your side. I want to explore paths I have so far only seen from a distance. I want to sniff, marvel, and experience. I finally want to start living.
I am looking for a home that suits me: A place without many stairs, preferably with a garden, ideally in a rural area. A home without hectic or pressure, where I am given time to build trust – because once I trust, I stay. Very close. Completely loyal.
I will be adopted for a reduced adoption fee, because it would be wonderful if my new family could provide me with physiotherapy. Not out of pity – but because I deserve to begin my new life with all my strength.
Here I am: NEO. A gentle, black giant. A dog who carries a lot – not only physically, but also in his heart. A dog who is ready for his new beginning.
