Hello, I’m Nevio. 🐾
Maybe this is the first time you’re seeing my face. To me, that means hope.
I live on an abandoned industrial site in Romania. People used to work here; today, everything is quiet. But we dogs have stayed. Many of us have sought refuge here. Now they say the site may soon be closed for good. No one knows what will happen to us then.
Without the people who sometimes bring us food, we wouldn’t stand a chance.
A kind woman named Lila came to visit me. She brought food and took photos and videos of me. She isn’t a professional photographer – but she wanted the world to know that I exist. That I won’t simply be forgotten.
I’m a friendly, people-oriented dog. I’m happy to hear every kind voice and feel every gentle touch. Although I haven’t had a good life, I still believe that there are good people in the world.
I’m not wishing for a grand adventure. I only want a home. A place where I’m welcome. A person who loves me, takes me for walks and shows me what it feels like to be safe and cared for. A soft bed, regular meals and the feeling of finally having arrived – that would be the greatest happiness for me.
Maybe you are the person I’ve been waiting for all this time.
