Waldos Story
I am WALDO – a quiet observer with a big heart seeking a place in life❣
I was born in an open field, together with my six siblings – and four other puppies who were apparently just abandoned there. No shelter, no people, no mother in sight. Just us. We were small, hungry and alone – next to a road that was far too close. Being found and brought to the SUST animal orphanage was pure luck. Many others do not experience this.
Since then, I have been living in the shelter. Here it is safe, we have enough to eat, and no one has to compete for attention. I have learned that people can be kind, that my dog friends are a temporary family – and that sometimes you simply stick together when the nights grow cold.
But no matter how much security this place offers – I have not yet seen more of the world than the field where I was found and the animal shelter.
I am a calm dog. I do not push myself forward, but I observe a lot. I remember faces and take my time to build trust. And when the time comes, I show my true nature – gentle, affectionate, ready to bond.
I wish for a home. Not perfect, but real. A place where I can learn how life works. With walks, quiet times, closeness, and clarity. I do not yet know what it is like to live in a family, but I want to find out – with people who have patience and who will not try to change me but accompany me.
